Christine Fisher

President and Creative Director

As the leader and principle designer at Blue Marble, Christine works with clients to make their communication goals and strategies happen. Both analytical and creative, she is discerning and empathetic to the needs of customers and users. On a typical day at work you may find her consulting with marketing and/or product directors, mapping out/planning user experiences, developing a brand's visual aesthetic, interviewing and listening to project stakeholders/users, writing and art directing multimedia projects, or training clients to make their own communication tools.

Her strategic sensibility and curiosity gently influence those around her in the interest of generating unexpected, delightful, and practical outcomes. Christine's favorite projects allow her to grow and learn. Collaboration with bright clients and creative peers make her long days a joy, a challenge, and a deeply satisfying way to live.

Christine began her career as an ecology researcher with fieldwork in Yellowstone National Park and Venezuela. She became a published scientific author and gained hands-on experience with a variety of fisheries and freshwater ecology methods. She later served as a marketing manager for an international non-profit where she worked with designers as a client. In another role she helped to coordinate an adult literacy tutoring program.

Since the start of Blue Marble more than 15 years ago, Christine has led many creative projects and worked with many different teams. She has a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Spanish with a minor in Environment and Natural Resources and an associate’s in Graphic Design. She has always enjoyed making art and learning.
